You will encounter texts and ideas from the most important thinkers on the subject, discussing the fundamental concepts upon which the study of politics is based.The text extracts contained in this course are authentic and have not been simplified. There are translations into English from, for example, the ancient Greek, as well as English texts dating back the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. On their own, these texts would be difficult for most native speakers. But don't worry! This course offers a variety of features to help introduce you to the content, style, and meaning of the material you are to read. And after you read through a text, there are a variety of exercises designed to help test your understanding, build vocabulary, and solidify your understanding in English of the most important concepts.
